# Taxes and fees

Zeny has to leave the game as fast as monsters and quests create it, or prices climb until new players cannot buy anything. These are the places where zeny disappears on HangoutRO.

### Taxes

| Selling to an NPC shop | 10% of the sell price | The seller. The sell window already shows the taxed price, so what you see is what you get. Overcharge still applies first |

Rates change with the economy. The weekly report on zeny in circulation decides when.
