# Auto Hunt

Auto Hunt is built into the HangoutRO client and runs on the server. Your character picks targets, uses the attack skills you chose, loots by your filter and drinks potions at the thresholds you set. There is nothing to install and nothing that can get you banned. For buffing and healing, see [Auto Support](/hangoutro/systems/auto-support.md).

### What you need

An Autocombat Device in your inventory. Packs rent the device for their hours, and the start fails without one, with a message that tells you where to get a pack.

| Source                                           | Pack                                            |
| ------------------------------------------------ | ----------------------------------------------- |
| Auto-Combat Trader in the Eden building at 37,21 | One free 4 hour pack per account every 24 hours |
| Cash Shop, Popular tab                           | 8 / 12 / 24 hours for 15 / 20 / 35 points       |
| Attendance day 1                                 | A 24 hour pack                                  |

You cannot store, trade or cart a pack, so it stays on the character that got it.

### Using it

Open the Auto Hunt window from the Basic Info window's menu. Pick the skills to use, the loot filter and the potion thresholds, and start. Stop it from the same window.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://hangout-ragnarok.gitbook.io/hangoutro/systems/auto-hunt.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
