# Auto Support

Auto Support is the support half of the built-in automation. Your character casts the buffs and heals you chose on your party on its own, so a priest or a bard keeps a hunting party buffed without pressing every skill. It runs on the server like [Auto Hunt](/hangoutro/systems/auto-hunt.md).

### What you need

An Autosupport Device in your inventory. Packs rent the device for their hours, and the start fails without one.

| Source                                            | Pack                                            |
| ------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------- |
| Auto-Support Trader in the Eden building at 41,21 | One free 4 hour pack per account every 24 hours |
| Cash Shop, Popular tab                            | 8 / 12 / 24 hours for 10 / 15 / 25 points       |
| Attendance day 4                                  | A 24 hour pack                                  |

You cannot store, trade or cart a pack, so it stays on the character that got it.

### Using it

Open the Auto Support window from the Basic Info window's menu. Pick the skills to cast and who to cast them on, and start. Stop it from the same window.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://hangout-ragnarok.gitbook.io/hangoutro/systems/auto-support.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
