# Card Album

Deposit a card into your account's album and every character on the account gets a bonus for it, for as long as the card stays in the album. One deposit per card per account. It gives the spare cards Auto Hunt piles up a use, and the album doubles as a checklist of the cards you have not found yet.

### Opening the album

Two ways. Click the Card Album icon in the Basic Info menu, the grid that opens from the orb at the bottom right. Or talk to the Card Album Keeper in Prontera at 146,162, below the Card Remover, and pick "Open the album".

### Reading the window

* The tabs sort cards by the slot they go into: Weapon, Armor, Shield, Garment, Shoes, Accessory, Headgear, and MVP for boss cards.
* A card in full colour is in your album. A dimmed card is one you have not deposited. A card with a gold ring around it is in your bag right now, ready to go in.
* Click a card and the right side shows it large, with whether it is in your album or your bag. Click it again to go back to your album's standing.
* The right side also shows your album level, your points, a bar to the next milestone, what that milestone adds, and every bonus the album gives you now.
* The arrows at the bottom turn the pages.

### Depositing a card

Click a card with a gold ring, or drag a card out of your inventory onto the album. A box names the card and what it gives, and you confirm. The card leaves your bag and its bonus starts at once.

### Taking a card back

Select a card in your album and press "Take back". It costs 100,000 zeny for a normal card and 500,000 for an MVP card. The card returns to your bag exactly as you gave it, an account-bound card comes back account-bound, and its bonus and its points go with it. Taking a card back costs, so deposit the cards you plan to keep.

### What each card gives

Every card has its own deposit effect, written in the album next to the card and in the confirm box. It follows the card's equipped effect at about a tenth of its strength: Andre Card gives ATK +2 where the equipped card gives +20, Hydra Card gives 2% more damage to Demi-Humans where the equipped card gives 20%, Marc Card gives 10% Freeze resistance. Cards whose effect has no small version, autocasts, drop bonuses, armor elements, give their slot's flat bonus from the table below. About a quarter of the classic cards are in that group. MVP cards have hand-picked effects: Golden Thief Bug MDEF +3, Osiris MaxHP +2%, Kiel-D-01 after-cast delay -1%, Ifrit ATK +3.

### Points and milestones

Every deposited card is one point, an MVP card five. Reaching a milestone adds its bonus to every character on the account, for as long as your points stay above it.

| Points | Bonus                                 |
| ------ | ------------------------------------- |
| 10     | +1 all stats                          |
| 30     | +2% MaxHP and MaxSP                   |
| 60     | +1% ATK and MATK                      |
| 100    | +2 all stats                          |
| 150    | +3% MaxHP and MaxSP                   |
| 200    | +2% ATK and MATK                      |
| 300    | +3 all stats                          |
| 400    | +5% MaxHP and MaxSP, +3% ATK and MATK |
| 500    | +5 all stats                          |

### Every card counts by its slot

| Card slot | A card without its own effect adds |
| --------- | ---------------------------------- |
| Weapon    | +1 ATK, +1 MATK                    |
| Armor     | +1 DEF                             |
| Shield    | +1 MDEF                            |
| Garment   | +1 FLEE                            |
| Shoes     | +10 MaxHP                          |
| Accessory | +2 MaxSP                           |
| Headgear  | +1 HIT                             |
| MVP       | +1 all stats                       |

### Rules

* The album belongs to the account. Alts share it and cannot deposit the same card twice.
* The card must be loose in your inventory. A card inside an item stays there.
* The album opens with the classic cards, the 452 monster cards from before Renewal. Renewal cards join later, a batch at a time.
* Only real cards count. Enchant stones are not cards even when the game calls them that.
* A card comes back out for the fee. Wear the cards you fight with and deposit the spares.

{% hint style="info" %}
The album window comes with client patches 46, 47 and 48. Start the game through HangoutRO Launcher once and it is there. An older client still deposits through the Keeper's dialog.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://hangout-ragnarok.gitbook.io/hangoutro/systems/card-album.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
